ULLAMAIJA HÄNNINEN

Ullamaija Hänninen is a photographer from Helsinki, who made her artistic debut with a private exhibition called Times in 1988. Her works display a great deal of rock material, horticulture and reverse materials. She runs her own studio, Takete Ltd., specializing in photographs on food and furnishings. Besides her solo exhibitions Chaos, Stone Age, At the Frontier and Concrete Dream she has showcased at several joint exhibitions and published the books Baroque (musta taide 2020), Palava jäädyke - fantasiaruokia (eng. Flaming Parfait – fantasy food) (Otava 2007), Kauhalla ja vasaralla (eng. With Scoop and Hammer) (Tammi 2004) and Kivikausi (eng. Stone Age) (Musta taide 1996).
